Part I  Create a Personal Information Page.  This page must have the following items:

1. Page title with your name in it (i.e. "John Smith's Personal Information Page").

2. A heading using the heading tag(not just bold and large font).

3. Your name.

4. Your major.

5. A list of classes that you are taking at DePaul this quarter.

6. A link, opening in a new window, to DePaul University's home page.

7. A link, opening up in a new window, to the ECT250 Course site (www.daschmelzer.com/ect250).

8. A link to your Shrine page, described below.  Please don't open this up in a new window, but in the same frame.

9. A background color other than white.

Please spend some time attempting to make the page somewhat visually appealing using layout, fonts, tables.  Points will be awarded for general visual appeal.  I realize that these are the first pages for many of you, but please give some thought to proper layout of the information.  Look at other websites for examples.

Part II   Create a Shrine Page dedicated to your favorite person (for example, an actor, director, composer, musician, athlete, business figure, politician, or other person).  The person does not have to be "famous".  If your brother or your best friend is your favorite person, you can dedicate your page to them.  (Note, however, that you may not create a shrine to yourself, even if you are your favorite person).  NOTE:  If you use images from another site, you MUST show links to the site that you took the image from. The Shrine page must include:

1. Page title with your favorite person's name in it.

2. A heading using the heading tag (not just bold and large font).

3. A table to be used in formatting your information with minimum two columns by two rows.

4. A background color other than white (the default).

5. Two (2) different images.  One of the images must be hyperlinked.  You can hyperlink both of the images to the places that you took the image from.  A text reference to where the image was taken must also be included on the page.

6. A Hyperlink back to the Personal Information page of Part I.

Again,  as in Part I points will be awarded for general appearance.  The general appearance, fonts, colors, etc. should match between the two pages (personal information and shrine page.
