Go to Verisign’s site (www.verisign.com/freeguides/index.htm) and print out a copy of their Guide “Securing Your Website for Business”. You will have to put some basic personal information in, but check the selection “For Research only”. Read through this paper and write a 350 word paper titled ”Security Considerations for an eCommerce Website”. 

Areas that this paper must cover are:

1. Security threats that have emerged on the Internet

2. The meaning and purpose of a Server ID (Digital Certificate)

3. A basic outline of how Digital Certificates work.

4. Features and Benefits of Server IDs.

5. How Server ID’s function to achieve security goals

6. Implementation requirements of Server IDs with SSL

7. The process of implementing Digital Certificates.

You should be able to find all of the information in this paper to address these questions.  Please do not copy, verbatim, any of the sections of the paper as this would result in a very low grade.  Use your own words in describing this.  Grading for the assignment is here.
