Assignment 3 – ECT/IS 372:  Microsoft Project II

 

  1. Consolidate the activity: “Provide scoping input for business case”, and “Commit & provide resources for team” to one line.  Add all of the resources to the one activity.

 

  1. Insert the new column “Work” into the Table between the columns “Finish” and “Predecessor”

 

  1. Add the new activities: (sub milestones):  Pre-Concept, Working Group, and Move to Active Project.  These should be added based on the original chart with the activities that fall in that sub-phase indented beneath them.

 

  1. Add the Activity Durations and Predecessors to the Project Schedule based on the following chart.

  1. Base on this layout of the schedule, answer the following questions in a word document when you submit the file (two documents zipped, please):
    1. Are there any over allocations of resources (i.e. team members)?
    2. If so, what team members are over-allocated and for what time period (i.e. what days)?

 

  1. Rename the file lastname.h3.372ProjectII.mpp
  2. Submit the files to the dlWeb on or before the due date.
